About the Webmistress

My name is Gloria and I used to work in software development. I'm passionate about self hosting and making digital backups and this website started as an offshoot of the internal website I developed for my NAS. And since I lost that website when my NAS had its first (and hopefully only!) hard drive failure, this website has now officially outlived the project that it splintered off from.

I used to do a lot of game development in my free time and I'm trying to get back into that more lately now that I'm not doing software development as a full time job. If I make progress on that I will definitely be adding updates about those projects on here. For now I'll be using this website for an assortment of other things that I'm interested in and have been working on.

I might add a picture of me or something here later if I remember but I'll probably forget.
